1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using LSLCalc ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LSLCalc is an Australian Long Service Leave (LSL) calculator that helps employers and HR professionals calculate leave entitlements across all Australian states and territories. The Service includes:

• LSL entitlement calculations based on state legislation
• Employee management and tracking
• Leave transaction recording
• Liability reporting and forecasting
• Integration with payroll systems (Xero, MYOB)
• PDF report generation

3. Important Disclaimer

Long service leave legislation varies by state and territory and is subject to change. Results should always be verified by:

• Your payroll department or accountant
• A qualified employment lawyer
• Relevant state/territory authority
• Union representatives (where applicable)

LSLCalc is not responsible for any decisions made based on calculations from this Service.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

4.2 Organization Accounts

If you create an account on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Pricing

We offer multiple subscription tiers (Starter, Professional, Enterprise) with different features and pricing. Current pricing is available on our pricing page.

5.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

5.4 Price Changes

We may change our prices with 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service after price changes constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Upload malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorized access
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the Service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others

7. Your Data

7.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service. We do not claim any ownership rights to your employee data or business information.

7.2 License

You grant us a limited license to use your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7.3 Data Export

You may export your data at any time using our export features. Upon account termination, we will provide a reasonable period to export your data.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, logos, and content, is owned by LSLCalc and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of calculations
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LSLCalc from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with notice. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• You will have 30 days to export your data
• We may delete your data after the export period

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Victoria.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
